About the space
When you arrive at A.R.T./New York Theatres you will be welcomed into our ground floor lobby. There are stairs leading up to our Mezzanine Theatre level to the back of the lobby as well as an elevator to the left.
Amenities include:
- Display monitor with directions to your theatre and show poster.
- A desk that can display show information.
- Large freight elevator for loading in show items. The elevator is 10’-6” wide by 10’ tall by 6’ deep.
- During performances this area is staffed by an A.R.T./New York Front of House Manager.
There are two theatre spaces in the building. Featuring flexible seating configurations and complete technical packages, the Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre can seat up to 87 audience members and the Mezzanine Theatre can seat up to 149.
In addition to being LEED Silver, the A.R.T./New York Theatres are fully accessible for audiences, artists, and technical staff alike and feature Wi-Fi equipped lobbies that can be used as special event spaces.
